When a girl gets married at a very young age that too at a time when her higher secondary exams are a week ahead, how does one think that she will pass in those exams.

Of course you are right. She has failed in the exams.

That girl is none other than Sankari.

Ailing from a very poor family lost her parents at an early age , hence forced to get married at an early age to a man who also had lost his parents at an early age, got into motherhood for two children at an early age, lost that husband also within 8 years of marriage and became a widow at an early age.

For Sankari everything was early as her own parents, in-laws and her husband’s names had to be mentioned as ‘Late’. Having Lost every one Sankari wanted to join her parents, husband and in-laws at Heaven along with her two small lovely kids by taking some extreme steps as there were nobody to support her.

If the GOD closes one Door, He will open another Door.

Yes. Sankari had a Chance to meet Mr. Raman. He said, “If you think that God has given you this life, for you to serve in a small circle of your family, you are mistaken. You have a bigger circle called society where you have more people who have more sufferings and longing for love and affection. To understand this philosophy only, God has made the globe. World is a bigger circle you see. When you are hungry and manage to earn a quarter meal and eat, you are happy. But at the same time if you serve that meal to a much needed person and see the happiness in his face, you will be doubly happy. The first one is a pleasure which stays for few minutes.

The second one is the Joy which will lost for long, as in that doing, the thinking behind is divine.

These golden words made Sankari to think and join Janakalyan Sevashram –Chennai in the year 2003 by which time the Branch was one year old and needed a person with passion, like Sankari.

Even today as secretary, she cooks and serves 22 old people (from the age 63 to 93). At times, she might have missed her food but till today she has never failed in feeding all of them, and the journey goes on and on and on.

She is now 32 years and for others, she will look like the child of all the inmates of the Ashram (age group of 63 to 93).
But to those inmates she is the “MOTHER” who serves them with affection.

Anyway nice to see a lady of 32 years of age, having 21 children from the age group of 12 to 93.
